HOSPITAL DISCHARGE
If you are unfortunate to have been involved in a serious motor vehicle accident, you may need urgent help such as assistive devices and personal support worker at home. We can arrange for your assessment and services ASAP.
ASSISTIVE DEVICES
We can recommend and supply assistive devices such as Grab bars and Shower Chair for safe bath environment. We can also conduct a comprehensive Home Safety Assessment and recommend more complex more devices such as Wheelchairs, Stair Lifts and Wheelchair Elevators etc.
SPECIALIST ASSESSMENTS
We make appropriate referrals for further assessments such as Orthopaedic and Neurological Assessments etc if the clients need further assessments to diagnose their needs.
PERSONAL SUPPORT WORKER/ ATTENDANT CARE ASSISTANCE
We can recommend and provide assistance for attendant care services from Certified Personal Support Workers to ensure that you have appropriate assistance when you NEED it.

Am I entitled for services such as attendant care/ housekeeping if I am involved in a motor vehicle accident?
Yes. You are entitled to these services if you are involved in a motor vehicle accident in Ontario. We can help you in setting up these services for you.
Who pays for these services?
Your insurance premiums include the standard benefits and coverages you must receive if you are involved in a motor vehicle accident.
What are standard benefits?
Standard benefits include ‘Medical and Rehabilitation plus Attendant Care for non-catastrophic injuries’. These benefits have been capped to a maximum of $65,000. In addition, you may also be entitled to Income Replacement Benefit to a maximum of $400 per week.
What are standard benefits under Catastrophic Injuries?
For catastrophic injuries, Standard benefits including ‘Medical and Rehabilitation plus Attendant Care’ have been capped to a maximum of $1,000,000. In addition, you are also entitled to housekeeping and care giver benefits if you suffer Catastrophic injury.
What is Minor Injury?
According to FSCO, Medical, Rehabilitation and Attendant Care benefits for minor injuries are fixed at a maximum limit of $3,500.
Impact of Minor Injury?
According to FSCO, Insurers can no longer use a minor at-fault accident that occurs on or after June 1, 2016 meeting certain criteria to increase your premiums. The criteria include that no payment has been made by any insurer, that there are no injuries, and that damages to each car and property were less than $2,000 per car and were paid by the at-fault driver.
